Integral reform project for a couple living in an old flat in Guadalajara. This old apartment had three bedrooms and a very long corridor. The main challenge we faced was the difficult distribution of the windows and the “tube” form of the apartment. Finally, the integral reform of this apartment consisted on demolishing the interior and redistribute it again, modifying the corridor position and removing a room, to get a bigger main bedroom with a dressing area for the couple. The bathroom was enlarged as well, and the kitchen was semi-integrated with the living room, allowing the passage of light, but remaining apart from the living room by windows, to avoid smoke and bad smells

Finally, the living room terrace was closed with a large window, gaining space by the window and making the living room of this integral apartment reform much more spacious and bright.

As for finishes, the creation of a background based on neutral colors was prioritized, on which we provided color in brush strokes, such as reds or blues.
This project has been carried out entirely with BIM methodology, which has allowed the optimization of space and the reduction of errors and unforeseen works, with the consequent economic savings.
